Phang Nga or Krabi – Budget Kayak Camp 3 Days 2 Nights

We are always looking for ways to make the company experience more affordable.

The kayak camp is our budget alternative.

DESTINATION: Tha Khao Bungalow, Koh Yao Noi, Phang Nga Bay

SETTING: Beachfront bungalows near a quiet village on a beautiful island centered in Phang Nga Bay. Numerous excellent kayaking locations are located within one hour by long tail boat. Mut’s home village is walking distance and mountain bikes are available

SEASON: Year-round, rainy season is August to October

SKILLS: Calm water Sit-On-Top kayaking – basic instruction is provided. Non-swimmers are required to wear a PFD

ACCESS: One hour by long tail boat from North East end of Phuket island. Ground transfer is 15 minutes from Phuket International Airport, 45 minutes from Patong. Phuket is served several times daily by Thai Airways, and enjoys direct long haul service by many carriers.

Depart by fast long tail for East Bay (Ao Por pier)

Arrive Gu Du Yai islands; Introductory kayak training
10.30

Explore the islands by kayak
12.30

Check in and have lunch at Tha Khao Bungalow.
15.30

Continue to explore the islands, stay until sunset if you wish.
18.00

Arrive at Tha Khao pier. Transfer to bungalows
20.00

(Or whenever) Fresh seafood dinner in spacious, well-built restaurant
 
Day 2
 
07.30 Wholesome Western-style breakfast with brewed coffee or gourmet teas.
09.30

Depart Tha Khao pier. Circumnavigate Hong yai. (Spectacular large lagoon which is home to a mangrove forest and the chance to see many different types of wildlife). Picnic lunch whenever. Motor to more islands and explore them by kayak

Take out and start for the pier

Return to pier and transfer Tha Khao Bungalow
 
Day 3
 
07.30

Wholesome Western-style breakfast with hot coffee or gourmet teas.
09.30

Depart Tha Khao pier. Circumnavigate the first island.
12.00

Hong (Krabi) Island, relax on white sandy beach or explore the island which is home to many types of birds including the great hornbill and white bellied sea eagle or snorkel with many tropical fish and a spectacular shallow reef (3-10 feet) ideal for even non experienced snorkelers. Picnic lunch whenever.

Take out and start for the Ao Por pier

Return to pier and transfer to your hotel
 

We provide transfers, long tail boat, guide, two breakfasts, three picnic lunches, two dinners, all soft drinks, bungalows and kayaking.

Non-swimmers must wear a PFD, which we will provide. Inflatable kayaks must be reserved in advance. The guests can departure whatever Krabi or Phuket they will pay the same price.
